In a sense yes, in that it does seem to be vagus nerve stimulating, but I couldn't tolerate it. For me it drove a side effect of my parkinson's medication wild - dyskinesia, uncontrolled movements - this usually happens for me when some intervention creates acetylcholine through vagus stimulation, which is unfortunate. But I think this indicates it should be calming for most people.
